Review: DeWALT Battery Adapter

DeWALT came out with a battery adapter kit.

If you have battery tools that run off of 18 volt batteries, there are no 18 volt replacement batteries available. So, instead of having to replace all of your battery tools to the 20 volt versions, this adapter kit allows for the new 20 volt batteries to work with the 18 volt battery tools. Great solution!

Highly recommend this for contractors and homeowners alike!

This remodel was so much fun! We love the modern farmhouse style!

This project included converting an existing garage to a kitchen/living room, moving the utilities/laundry area into the existing kitchen and converting to a master bedroom. The new kitchen included demo, framing walls, doors, and windows, installing insulation and drywall, priming/painting, installing new oak hardwood floors, brand new cabinets and quartz countertops, a new tile backsplash, a new kitchen island, new doors, windows and trim, new electrical and recessed lighting, and plumbing.

When you first meet with a contractor, the most important thing to walk away from is a sense that you can trust him or her with your project. Does he or she understand the full scope of the job and do you feel that your level of standard can be met?

Of course, not all of this can be obtained by a simple meeting. Do your due diligence. Ask to see photos of previous work. Ask for references. Be sure to call their last customer to see if they were satisfied with the quality of work. For most, not only is it important that their level of work is good, but also find out if they were easy to work with. Did they communicate on a regular basis? Did they go over budget?

Know what you may be getting into. It will save you a lot of stress after the project begins. Here are five steps to get you started on your project!
